AFAA is now a proud sponsor!
June is Alzheimer’s and Brain Awareness Month.
AFAA has partnered with the
Women’s Alzheimer’s Movement to make your cognitive health a
priority. Please join us as we raise funds and spread awareness for women-based Alzheimer’s research.
What is the Women’s
Alzheimer’s Movement?
The Women’s Alzheimer’s Movement, founded by Maria Shriver, is a global
alliance of individuals, organizations,
researchers, foundations, influencers and industry leaders committed to finding out why women are disproportionately
affected by Alzheimer’s. By answering this question we just might unlock the other mysteries surrounding this
mind-blowing disease and find a cure
for all.
What is AFAA doing to help?
AFAA has joined forces to support the Women’s Alzheimer’s Movement in a number of ways by:
-
Raising funds to support research grants through our sponsorship of the Move for Minds events.
-
Being at the forefront of research around living a brain-healthy lifestyle though training, nutrition, and healthy habits.
-
Developing a list of 5 practical healthy brain tips that anyone
can implement.
-
Inviting our community to join the fight against Alzheimer’s.
