WHAT IS IT?
An intensive one-day workshop that emphasizes various methods of teaching
kickboxing as group exercise. The workshop focuses on practical skills, drills
and techniques to enhance successful teaching. Program highlights:
- Formatting a KickBoxing class
- Creative KickBoxing—including punches, kicks and combos
- Biomechanics for safety
- Successful cueing and choreography methods
- Music utilization
WHO IS IT FOR?
Designed for group exercise instructors and anyone interested in teaching
KickBoxing as a group exercise class. This course will teach you safe, effective
and creative methods for teaching KickBoxing. Recommended Prerequisites: group
exercise teaching experience, Primary Group Exercise Certification, familiarity
with basic kickboxing techniques, and an understanding of AFAA's Basic Exercise
Standards and Guidelines.

The workshop fee is $129* (less a 10% discount for current AFAA members. Corporate affiliate discounts may not be combined).
